How to get rid of bed bugs
Here are some options:- A CO2 machine specifically designed to attract and trap bed bugs
- A professional exterminator
- Use preventative measures - 'shoes for your furniture so bed bugs can't climb up'
- A special designed heater tent for clothes and small furniture - this tent and electric heater combo can be useful for some larger objects.
It can be wise to take all your clothes, bed sheets, pillow covers etc. in a dryer, (or heater tent) at high temperatures, to kill any bed bugs and eggs that might be there.
It can also be wise to get rid of the mattress, couch, or soft chairs that have a bed bug problem, if you can't put them in any safe heater. Even after extermination there might still be bed bug eggs there.
